SD-WAN and Cloud Connection

By miranda | September 7, 2011

SD WAN improves performance for cloud-based applications by making it easier to set up Internet break outs at remote offices.

For many businesses, data centers can be a drain on their bandwidth. Although there are myriad ways to overcome this problem, from purchasing additional bandwidth or adding a secondary data center to the data center footprint, and SD-WAN online services from sites as Fortinet can be really helpful with this. You can also visit this page to find more details.

CloudConnexion is an application and hardware tool that supports the private cloud to enhance the performance and reliability of remote offices. The solution allows organizations to take advantage of their high bandwidth connections while simultaneously improving the available Internet bandwidth. This will allow businesses to transform their data centers, reducing the cost of network infrastructure while bringing superior performance and reliability.

On October 16, 2016, CloudConnexion began offering CloudConnexion VSX-200. This single-socket, dual-core system, when combined with a 3G-capable 802.11ac network adapter, provides performance up to 320 Gbps over the gigabit LAN port. In addition, the following devices are available for installation:

CCNX200AV0-A X2 4-port 3G/4G switch

CCNX200AV2-A X2 4-port 3G/4G switch

CCNX200AV3-A X2 4-port 3G/4G switch

CCNX200AV4-A X2 4-port 3G/4G switch

CCNX200AV5-A X2 4-port 3G/4G switch

CCNX200AV6-A X2 4-port 3G/4G switch

CCNX200AV7-A X2 4-port 3G/4G switch

The current CloudConnexion VSX-200 requires an open-source wireless device such as a 802.11ac N hotspot or Bluetooth to create a private network. The team plans to support an alternate wireless protocol as well as adding more support for more wireless devices in the future.

The CloudConnexion VSX-200 provides companies with access to high performance and scalable infrastructure that benefits them in a variety of ways. It allows organizations to monitor traffic and performance on the Internet without the need for additional expensive hardware. CloudConnexion also allows businesses to monitor their Internet connection performance, speed, and availability.

“CloudConnexion is exciting because it turns the Internet infrastructure into one physical network that is available to everyone,” said Tom Chilton, vice president of Global Network Architect & VSS at Datacenter Dynamics, Inc. “Many organizations are spending a lot of time and money on specialized equipment to facilitate cloud computing, but if they have the right network they can connect to the cloud without the additional expense.”
